trying to design decay in meme reputation system but to stupid to figure precision
1) compute precise value at local actor level with a global approximation. this is weird since it means contract reported supply might mismatch actual amounts due to precision errors. this wastes storage since needs to store update time for each balances
or 2) use intermediate representation (multiply or divide by inverse decay, aka growth). reported supply is always exact but now this can lead to weird behaviors such as precision discrepancy between representation and denomination, as some values can not be represented (e.g. deposit of 50.0 tokens turns into 49.999999...)

cant round up either since we dont want to mint untracked supply. imagine if trading bots optimize their tx to always benefit from rounding orsomething

The whole purpose of the 69% KDA return deal was to keep private sale whales from dumping a huge amount of the token on launch day (the team claimed the deal was to "make it up" to the private salers for the launch delay, but we all know the real reason)
The dumb fuckers let the private salers get 160 million KDX, that's a huge chunk of the initial circulating supply. And there's no vesting period for them once the dex launches and those tokens are distributed
They had no choice but to offer that 69% return, it was their best shot at avoiding an ungodly dump of their token on launch
But the greedy fucks either don't have that much KDA to return to them, or they just plain don't want to give that much KDA back. So out of nowhere these scammers went from

to

none yields undesirable untracked amounts. but 2 leads to unexpected loss whereas exact global supply can always be computed off-chain on 1
