There is a flaw that many Bitcoin investors seem to be ignoring.

The people who believe that Bitcoin is a solid investment and not a bubble at this point believe the price is justified by the value of its use as a currency. The problem is no one is going to accept or want to use a currency that is volatile. But if the price were to go sideways for a long period of time (which has never been the case with Bitcoin), the flood of normies and neets looking for easy gains will exit the market, resulting in more volatility and prices would fall, again making it impossible to use as a stable currency.

Not true, because you can buy gift cards and app credits for the services you want. For example I can load my Chipotle app up with Bitcoin, then get burritos whenever.

Would you justify the price of the investment in any way other than pure speculation?

Only by ignoramuses and people trying to drive the "muh blocksize" meme in an attempt to destroy decentralization. No-one cares about bitcoin's currency properties any more than they care about gold's. Anyone who has believed this in the history of bitcoin has consistently made bad trades, which I truly appreciate.
