I like to believe he has a plan, and he has just spectacularly failed to coordinate all of the moving parts (Roughly: Price floor raise, investor money/buyback, liquidity provider, new users, MARS, XCM functionality, new TRAM, staking limit raise). He's made that error before - and so, maybe the parts will belatedly fall into place over the next two months.

But he does seem hopelessly naive about the global recession. Did he think the price floor would work like magic? Was he irretrievably fucked by a whale getting liquidated elsewhere (Luna?) and suddenly having to mass dump XCM? Did he just think the markets were inevitably going to upswing again and hence drive interest in XCM?

I honestly can't figure out his plan to get out of this, unless CM buys huge amounts of XCM at a valuation that THEY have themselves artificially inflated. Not a great move, given that they need to have liquidity to survive the bear market.
The longer this goes on, it seems the less likely it is that liquidity will somehow restore itself. I KNOW that most of the posters about this are LCX paki trolls, but there is a real possibility that the longer this goes on, the more will be turned off from CM, and want to divest their XCM.

As far as I can tell, the best solution now is that CM sets a lower price floor - but still higher than before (say 20c) - and backstops it with a buy wall. Should be twinned with a staking program that is much harder to extricate from (say: all XCM profit is taken if one ends early).
This is better than what seems likely right now: buying XCM at 60c from people who will fuck off with the profit and never return or making XCM look like an utter scam token.
