What they sell for I don't know. The whole kit puts it in a comparable category.1987 is the second year of production. 1986 coins get a huge premium but it drops off for the following year. Even so, they have added numi value over more contemporary pressings. How generous do you want to be? Spot plus 250 would be my offer and I would consider it fair. >>50320901Glad to help. If you like selling art bars it's a pretty decent racket. Most Copper pipe is #2 quality. A little elbow grease to remove the solder and you get deoxygenated .999 pure copper. I always scotch rite my pipe before melting just to ensure there are no surface impurities then sand it pretty to a precise weight, stamp your stuff and sell on eBay.I pay around 1.80 a lb for pure copper pipe. Spend a day removing solder and shining it up with a scotch bright pad. Burn through two tanks of propane to melt 100lbs. Spend another day cleaning and stamping and sell 100 lb bars for $20 a piece all day. I don't have my cost sheet on me but I'm in about 300 by the time it's all done. Lose another 10% on shipping and commissions which is about $200. So out of $2000 I walk away with $1500. Not bad for a weekend hobby. I could sell for more just based on competitive pricing but why get greedy. My stuff sells fast and I make good money. Let other people sit on their bars at $30 for half a year. I want my shit gone by the end of the month.
>>503209416kg propane melting furnace with graphite molds. I like the ones with a hole in the top over the sealed ones. You lose heat so you burn more propane but you can add copper to the crucible while it's melting by dropping it in the top. Less effecient but less hassle.

I am more than happy to sit on the sidelines with most of my wealth in physical form while the losses are divvied out to dollar holders.
>>50326660Guns beat silver in every single way.Barter = social collapse = better be armed constantly.
>>50326698There is a big gap between social collapse and economic collapse. It is entirely possible, if not much more probable, that we experience a serious economic collapse than we do a serious social collapse to the point where people are raiding each other. In either situation guns and gold are good investments, but in economic collapse the upside potential for precious metals is better than that of guns (according to me). I personally have both but I'm not overboard on guns, just a couple pistols, my AR-10, and a hunting rifle.

>>50313669There is no conceivable way that Uganda has that much gold. Cosmically speaking it is nearly impossible when a star is an hero'd to form that many gold molecules because of the specific wavelength of microburst requirements needed for radon particle degeneration to form even one grain of gold is sporadically random at best. At most we have seen some tonnage of product but 12.8 trillion worth is a fucking lie. It's a fucking lie it has to be. No fucking way. They print certificates and now outright lie to manipulate the prices. There is no 12.8 trillion worth of gold
>>50320649You live and you learn
Seeing the live price of gold after the CPI numbers reveal is fascinating. The shapes of the spikes come across as violent explosions that are only being suppressed by a whisker. It's going to be interesting to see the behaviour over the next 24 hours.
Anons, what happens when Ugandan 12 trillion worth of gold reaches the market? Is the media lying as usual? What if they are not for a change?
I was expecting some Canadian .80 today… but the post man hasn’t been. I don’t think he’s coming. Woe is me.My jadwigas are currently in some unpronounceable place near the Ukraine. Once they get to Western Europe I’ll be able to read the tracking info. Maybe I should just pop to the lcs and buy some £10 thing to scratch the itch today.

Hello? I was promised triple digit silver, but now we're heading to single digit silver.
>>50327946Get em cheapies desu. I've to wait till the end of this month to get in on the action. I spent all my cash on gold.
>>50327782What’s that in oz?>>50327892Honk to you too. Atm I have mostly voyager dollars. I have one celebrating something or other. A place name I forget, begins with a c. I’d like some geese, but they go for more and I try to grab stuff as close to spot as possible. (Then get wrecked with postage). Think I have 6 now, and maybe 11 assorted 5/10/25 cents moose thing/boat from late 1800 to 1950s
>>50327946This is a gift. Literally, expecting the banks will allow monetary commodities to creep higher is retarded. The country is bankrupt, the banks are bankrupt, and the leverage in the economy poses losses in the hundreds of trillions of dollars. You can go chase 7-10% yield in a 10% inflation environment or you can take a comfy seat and wait for the collapse. Shit will hit the fan overnight and you will have zero time to react. The "silver squeeze" that emptied out physical inventories can occur simply by organic retail demand at any time and without warning. Just keep accumulating, because it only takes ONE event where losses are 80+% and you are wiped out for good, and the writing on the wall is that a major cataclysm in the global financial world is building up to.
>>50326916Thanks. Some anime booba always improves a discussion.Doll you think silver will go down further or do you think this is the bottom? Personally I think we're at the bottom so I'll be buying up as much as I can.

>>50328119That will never happen, the silver squeeze failed and was promoted by bullion retailers to you retards so they can sell you PMs with a high premium. Truth is there is no shortage of gold or silver, there is actually an oversupply of both. The recent discovery in Uganda of 12 trillion gold ounces has tanked the gold market.
>>50328414There is an ungodly amount of impossible (irredeemable) wealth stash in the bond and stock market. That capital will eventually seek safety in physical goods while inflation is raging at 10% with not a chance in hell of the Fed being able to raise interest rates. It's all a bluff, and you have to have the conviction to realize that your lying eyes are deceiving you.
>>50328478I work for a bank who's name I won't disclose and I can assure you there is no turmoil in the global markets. The inflation is transitory and will be back to 2% by EOY. Gold and silver will continue to go lower because investors are fleeing the PMs for US treasuries.

>>50328792The trick is to not be exposed to over leveraged assets. Prices will adjust as the financial system begins to topple, and 1% interest rates with 9.1% inflation is a ticking timebomb.

>>50329095People are so fucking ignorant that they don't even realize that even 2% inflation is destabilizing on a long term basis. ALL exponential functions go asymptotic on a long enough timeline, and the ONLY saving grace for exponential functions in finance is BANKRUPTCY and LIQUIDATION. We skipped over the bankruptcy process in 2008 and now we ruined the money supply and the financial system on a global scale.
>>50322968Nice resource. Do you know of a way I can check on 1/10th gold? Jmbullion is straight selling them at spot price of $2400. Theres now fucking way thats whats they should make on 1/10 oz coins
>>50328662And the reverse. I initially got them because I wanted a decent quality silver coin of the queen when she was young whilst I got caught up in jubilee fever. Then just started grabbing them when I found them because relative to a generic 1oz (at the time) you could get a little bit more silver. Like they were under half the price of a generic 1oz but you got 60% of a Troy oz.
>>50314276Tldr.>BUY MORE SILVERGot it!
>>50329022Check. Those are fine specimens!>They spike up a bit in price if you go earlier.Yes once you get back to George things spike significantly. You also have numinerd variations in much of the '50's and earlier era dollars. Like they were under half the price of a generic 1oz but you got 60% of a Troy oz.I also notice the tend to sell for less than generic. Bully for me as I already collect them. If anything it means my stack is low on the three nines stuff. You used to be able to buy '67 comem mint sets in bulk at a discount. I have probably over 100 dollars face in '67 coins. Trouble with those mint sets is the smaller coins were debased to 500 fine halfway through the year so common thought is they have a chance of being less than the usual 1.11 troy ounces per. According to my sources though, all of the proof mint sets were produced in early '67 and would therefore be 800 fine.

>>50329582Yeah. Some of the later stuff is either 80 or 50 so I avoid it since I can’t tell. Especially not over the internet via eBay. Friend at work has some proof sets. I don’t know what she has, but she said she looked recently and it was about £100 worth at current prices. (Probs about £90 today)
PMGBros, I have to admit I am kind of disappointed right now. I was expecting much more of a gold and silver pump with the inflation numbers. This seems very modest this morning considering how much both are down. There are months of losses that need to be made up.
Honestly, it’s pretty cool that the company who makes my ball valves also produces silver
>>50330029Don't worry fren. You don't actually want the monetary train to completely crash as it would be a life-changing catastrophe for every single person, the rich and the poor. Even if you were prepped to the teeth, it would still be an awfully hard time for you and your loved ones. Silver and gold are like insurance against an ever more likely event of a fiat monetary collapse. The way the system is designed, the paper prices will continue to dump on silver and gold right through to the death of the fiat monetary system. Also, I notice that APMEX has a lot of 'premium' collector rounds. Especially when the price starts to drop. This is an attempt to spread out the limited bullion by soaking up as many dollars per ounce as possible.

I just hit the motherload at a garage sale in a wealthy neighborhood. Some teen girl was sitting in her open apace lawn with dozens of boxes filled collectibles her grandfather used to have but he passed away six weeks ago. She said and I'm quoting her "all this shit has to go, we don't need any of it blocking up our guest rooms." I paid her 60$ for three full boxes of ar denarius, a sleeve of Augustus, Hadrian and Tiberius coins. There was also a bix filled with junk silver and another box with hundreds of 1988 silver rounds and early 2000's buffaloes. But what's even more there is a false bottom with over sixty ounces of gold in bars. I don't know if I should return it or just leave it alone because I feel really bad for taking a fortune away from them. The teen was a cunt but I don't know how her other family is. I just feel ashamed of myself instead if happy. He even had a armoire filled with books containing baseball cards and on one book it says "To Jimmy, have a Happy 18th birthday and remember to keep fishing". It made me tear up because this bitch potentially gave her brother's inheritance to me without a single thought. But if I return it if her parents knew what the boxes contained then I might have to be forced to return everything or go to court and I just can't afford that right now nor do I wish to go back to being poor. I simply cannot. But my heart aches for this situation.
