Most anons don't understand the affect these chambers can cause on the human brain. Your brain physically changes as a result of being in one of these rooms, you will never be the same once you begin this challenge.

Now on the other hand, if you let me bring as many books as I want into this room, give me a desk with an ample supply of pen and paper, I would gladly do this challenge. I would walk out of that room with so much knowledge I wouldn't even need the $30 bil, but I would still gladly accept it.

This anon has the best grip of the effects I think.

That kind of intense experience would either break or make you mentally. I believe that you could get out of it with you head on your shoulders if you grit your teeth, stay lucid, and summon your willpower. That said, it would inarguably do psychological damage to you over time, especially since you'd be in this environment for a couple hundred days. It would change you, for the worse. But you would be incomprehensibly rich, so whatever faculties that you manage to preserve and holdout during the year would be rewarded greatly after the year is passed.

Something for example that I feel like might be good for morale could be music. Whistle a set amount of times a day, you can whistle less, but cannot whistle anymore than a certain number. That ensures it's power and give you a sense of immediate time and life structure, albeit a very weak and pathetic one. Stick to one corner of your room, so you can "visit" the others. This avoids the feeling of being trapped. Make the room "yours" to ensure a feeling of safety. And most of all, have a continuous story you have concocted to follow. Speak it aloud, think it, envision it, it doesn't matter. But try to atleast freshen it and expand on it once a week. Masturbate frequently to lose track of the waking hours, and numb the effects of metaphorical nonexistence. It would be a nightmarish experience, but you could through it, week by slow week. That's just how I'd play it, personally. And yes, I would try it, isolation is not the only looming danger, poverty can strike any man down.

I lived by myself and had no job or anything for about 6 years a while back. I live remote. I didn't have to leave my house for anything, so I had little to no human contact. I had "hallucinations" of being watched and actually SAW shadows move. Masses of darkness in corporeal form. Those were very strong emotions of fear and confusion and the causes of those things happening were incomprehensible. I became very religious and hung Christian icons all over after that, and I didn't have problems anymore. I did also change my lifestyle after about a month of seeing things, because I couldn't stand it any longer. That said though, I don't that it is as bad as some people imply that it is. It took me 6 years to just be able to see shadows move around. And I'd also like to believe I've made a full recovery, I never hear or see things that aren't real anymore, (except tinnitus but that is completely natural and unrelated) and I live with other people now. I think the truth is, is that everyone has a different threshold for it.

I lived a little bit of it, at least enough to know a taste I think, I'd like to believe, and it sounds like you may have too. But it doesn't make us special, it just makes us different. It isn't something to be proud of. It certainly isn't something to do without a great purpose for it. Were it not for the other's circumstances, they could be the ones here today telling that to me and you. Nobody is going to help me it's like once someone wants to help me they get contacted and told not to, this oddly happened with my dad a lot as well he would get great job offers and think life is fixed and a week later someone would say something undermine him and he would lose his job, which further made my young life a living nightmare.

Anon, I do not want to take away from your pain, but it is when that you take pride in what happened makes me think that you did not truly suffer from it. An event or a time in one's life can define you and make you who you are, but that is not just simply because you choose to remember them. It is often the things that we try to forget that truly define us, and you re-live what happened to you as if it is the best thing you've known in your life.

You and the other anon are narcissists holy shit, I said specifically it fucked me up for life, has never allowed me to have a normal relationship with even my close family, never able to hold a job, I can't even work longer than a month before my psychological damage erupts and I quit/get fired

But you and the other anon are so fucking convinced you would be fine you're now attacking my suffering which is interesting since I've got nothing to prove just relaying what and how what happened to me changed my later life.

But go ahead and lock yourselves into a dark room for 5 years and see how you come out.

Do you think that you are the only one to feel pain? You may have been tormented, but you are a tormented fool if you believe that pain has made you become God. From what you say, I will not claim to have had any experience that holds a candle to yours. But I believe that there are others here who cannot say the same. And what grieves me the most is that you pride yourself on your suffering, as if you enjoy re-living it. Lets spice things up a bit, for 30 billion dollara you have to endure 1 year in a special chair that feeds you through an infusion, air gets pumped directly into your lungs, your excrements are also extracted by the chair/machine without you feeling anything, and all your senses are dulled(eyes shut with thick metal so that no light comes to your eyes, same with ears, nutrients and water given through an infusion so no taste, air directly pumped into lungs and both mouth and nose shut so no smell, and positioned in such a way that no part of your body can move so no sense of touch). You guys are really normies and pussies, I'm pretty sure I could do this. I spent 5 months in psych hospitals when I was 15 and at every chance I would voluntarily stay in my room and just lay down staring into space, masturbating or sleeping. They started locking my bathroom to force me to go out and do the lame ass activities like watching movies and playing games with the other kids, otherwise I would never leave my room. After being forced to leave my room i would just go to the solitary confinement room almost every day with nothing but a blue mattress on the floor that wasn't even comfortable enough to sleep. It wasn't as extreme as this challenge but I don't think it would be so horrible, I would be mentally damaged for sure but I think it's worth it for 30b. Whenever I see a challenge like this, I wish I could actually do it to prove people are pussies
