there is no labor shortage there is only a shortage of people who are willing to work for shit wages

>> No.50272739

Because they're fucking retarded, brainwashed by kikes and their brains are filled with holes. I get weekly updates on an employer that won't return my call about how they have to keep cancelling jobs from having no workers, and the workers they do have literally destroy customer property and leave early.

We are literally fenced off from income and jobs that aren't dishwashing and box pushing by a bunch of insane incompetent fucking retards.

there's only a labor shortage for minimum wagie jobs that pay a sub-livable wage and fuck with your schedule so much it's impossible to work 2 of them at once. also even these jobs are beheld to the incompetence of HR roasties.

Yup, we just gave mcdonalds wagies 800 dollars a month in unemployment during the coof and expect them to go back to flipping burgers for less than half that?

i work in corp finance at a very large company. i've been helping my boss interview candidates for the past few months for an open role we have. HR roasties will reject candidates left and right for the dumbest shit. my boss can see the rejected apps and several times now he's circumvented their retarded judgement and interviewed the candidates.

recently he learned that one of these HR roasties (they're all contractors) hasn't been getting any of his emails for the past week because the outsourced HR roastie firm fucked up and shut her email off or something.

absolutely insane that the world has devolved to this point.

I get to personally look at applications in my department at work. I will tell you the red flags to avoid and why I decline a candidate.
>2 year job hopping
>typos and grammatical errors
>resume over two pages long
>candidate has no actual experience pertaining to the job

Maybe this will help or maybe you’re just an unlikable person.

And then you wonder why turnover is high

You may not like it but this is what employers look at, especially the smaller privately owned mom and pop shops. Every new candidate we actually pulled the trigger on and hired lately has been employed at their former companies 7-10 years, which implies a few things
>they were worth keeping around for that long
>they likely have a family and like job stability

Then why the fuck don't you include that in the posting?
Pieces of trash like you are why I made a hobby of sending out fake resumes and scheduling ghost interviews. You waste my time, I waste yours

I've also gotten to personally look at applications and it essentially boils down to your last point; making the rest irrelevant.

That really depends too. There is some overlap in certain fields but you definitely wouldn’t hire a painter to do a loan officers job. That’s not exactly an entry level position.

Cool you’re looking for loyalty than. A dead concept in today’s world. The grammatical errors and over 2 pages resumes are good tips for most people. Experience, yeah right…that’s why Stacy was hired and got promoted in 6 months…cmon anon you know the game is rigged. The irony is that the buisness you work for does NONE of these things, they have no loyalty, t he make grammatical mistakes, they likely don’t give a fuck and on top of it they certainly don’t care about experience instead wanting someone who will be a work plough never leave the place until the ‘loyalty’ toll has been paid elsewhere. Anons if you want to get hired here’s the only tip you need, larp being the perfect wagie, that’s all you need to do to land job.

Ah the ol’ “fake it til you make it” angle. It’s a viable strategy and so is fudging your employment longevity. Most companies won’t even call bull on that or talk to your former employers for that matter, unless perhaps they have an hr department. Then you may be fucked.

Fugg I did forget to mention age. It matters, especially if the job is a physical manual labor job or a company that has a shit group insurance plan and doesn’t want to potentially take on an older guy that has a laundry list of health issues. But age can be played to your advantage in the right field, like management or any position that requires the temperance of an experienced and seasoned leader.
