Yeah that whole blocksize increase went off without a hitch. No actual significant changes will ever happen to BTC. It's still a slow piece of shit which every single alt does better. Plus as good of an idea as hard forks are conceptually, in practice they are shit for actual application in a currency people are readily buying at a constant pace. If a fork eventually 'flips' with Blockstream's BTC there's gonna be a fuckton of people buying in after the fork who will have the 'wrong' BTC and get screwed. It'll destroy the perception of BTC as people fear losing their money over forks (even if it doesn't make sense) and could cause people to panic exit the market.
