How are your 2022 investments doing? My 401k was trashed personally.

I mean it's kinda turning into a thing, literally made over 31k USD from it and still have a lot of calendar left to book.
Kinda insane, but people are pretty fucking tired of staying put so

I cashed out my retirement fund which was at $450k before it crashed and bought some bitcoin, but I lost any money I saved cashing out the retirement by losing it in bitcoin lol

So much for bitcoin being a hedge

How? Why did you ignore Jay-sama? Don't fight the Fed. They LITERALLY have infinity dollars. It's that easy.

It’s not so bad in the long term.

-9%, not bad compared to the investment community at large.

Most of my holdings are sitting at <25% of intrinsic value and should outperform as temporary issues relating to the businesses are resolved.

My holdings in aggregate are high quality businesses with high margins and high returns on capital so I should peform well regardless.

about -10% YTD. my contributions are holding my net worth steady, so it's whatever. investing for the long-term so this will happen from time to time. at least I'm not getting boned nearly as hard as the all-in crypto crowd.

-20% ytd, pretty frustrating because I'm starting law school in the fall and wanted to cash out some instead of just charging the whole $120k to student loans. Hopefully Biden continues to extend the interest holiday, that would definitely help.

My parents apparently took out a life insurance policy on me when I was born, and have been paying into it for the past three decades. My mom was saying that I can somehow take money out of it, definitely need to do some research on that.
