Daily reminder that you're an NPC midwit if you didn't accumulate Bitcoin 2010-2015. Anyone with any sort of intelligence should be reasonably wealthy by now.

But I was only 9-14 in those years, how would I have had the money to buy it or even set up a wallet?

Could’ve downloaded and setup the wallet from bitcoin.org with a few clicks
Early versions had a one click miner too

You seem to forget how silly it was to buy back then for any rational person. It had no credibility, it was seriously just sketchy and could easily have just disappeared.
True believers, people who just threw money and didn't care, and the ones buying a lottery ticket, good for all of them making so much money. But don't come at the vast vast majority with such accusations.

Really though.
As someone who was actually on Bitcointalk back in 2011...it was pure schizo zone. Scams...I guess in that sense it's still the same.
No way to know the whole thing was going to last from a technical perspective. In 2010 someone mined a block with an overflow error and billions of BTC.
The people involved were honestly brutal. It was all lolberts and their main narrative at the time was unironically that it was anonymous. I'm not making this up at all, it was explicitly marketed as anonymous money, some would hedge by calling it 'pseudonymous money' but privacy was the main narrative lmao...

Also I'll add it wasn't easy to buy it. And you could use gox...but I mean yeah. Everyone got goxxed in 2011 and 2013.

Pot dealers got it the best. Buying pounds and shipping the product at a 5 - 8x markup. Exit scams were common too, all paid in BSV on sr. Imagine how many BTC you would have if you just bought weed from nigs and sold it to yt for BSV. Potheads basically ensured BitCoin succeeded as cash.

Yep, I knew of bitcoin in 2009 and was fud'ed out of mining because "100% load on your CPU will destroy you PC".

Then when I went in I was Gox'd

>> No.50248772

I first heard about Bitcoin in late 2009 or 2010.

I thought it was just funny internet monopoly money without a future ("why would anyone use this sketchy shit when we already have Paypal"), and even if it ever gained any traction and value, governments and financial institutions would quickly outlaw and ban it. The jews would never allow it. That's how I used to think back in the early days.

However I really am a midwit for not having bought some back in mid 2015 below $250. I seriously considered investing a few thousand dollars around that time but ended up getting cold feet (in part because I still had fears it would be made illegal), only to fomo at $5000 back in 2017.

This... this is what fucked me in the end.. it had no credibility and the FUD was UNREAL, dark web markets, scams, goxx, etc and mining was only preceived as a waste of energy, that potentially exposed your device to nasty shit as well..

I used all the bitcoin to buy drugs from darkweb.
How can a scared nerd loser like you ever be anything but midwit at best, even if you'd manage to accumulate wealth?
