You know how dfinity is always saying that their NFTs are better, because they are on chain, and that Jeff Bezos doesn't own them with his AWS servers. Well guess what. All of that is a lie. Pic related is exhibit A. Apparently, if developers don't pay for cycles, your NFTs just vanish. What a joke. So these NFTs are not even yours. They are just a link to some canister that can randomly shut off. My spies are reporting that Dominic is furious about this. You probably already heard about him pushing people around the office, and spashing coffee in peoples faces. Well. It's all true, and it's getting worse with this latest news.

Good disccusion here as well. The thing with ICP is that it's likely possible to code to make NFT's permanent it just took some time for a proper project to rug. Fucking turtle pajeets, stop investing in animal nft's biz

Shitty devs doesn't mean the project as a whole is bad.

Anyone can send cycles to the canister's cycles wallet so the community could band together and keep an NFT running even if the devs die or disappear or something. When SNS feature launches most NFTs will switch to being DAO controlled so at that point it becomes irrelevant.

But yeah, WTF did you expect paying for some shitty NFT called "ICTurtles" by some no-name developer? Honestly.
