I would say that there’s room for 4-5 coins max.

Decentralization is s negative in most applications. Look at tor or BitTorrent vs something likes streaming Netflix. It’s just way more efficient to have something centralized and optimized for hardware.

Why do we like decentralized money? Because we’re willing to give up some efficiency and for freedom from counterfeiting (fiat). It’s literally the only application of decentralization that the benefits outweigh the cons.

Gold is similar in this sense but it doesn’t easily as as a currency, and can be confiscated and outlawed. So eventually fiat became a easier solution. But with fiat the knowledge of confiscations of wealth through the printing of money are always present.

a lot of times the biggest of walls are just to scare other people into selling as well. But the person with the most in the orders (yes, the wall does not have to be a single person, it’s a collective total of all people selling at that price....) will often pull the order prior once enough other people add to the wall. Thus, when the wall gets hit, everyone else is selling off and the person that had a chunk big enough to start it is actually sitting waiting for the dip they basically FUDed into action so they can buy more.

Right now people aren't changing their sell orders to reflect the under supply of buyers at wall level.

I think mainly because a lot of the wall is made from people asleep or they think the price will go up.

This is not a price manipulation or a signal. If it were, it would be set further from the current bid price. This is a legitimate sale: someone with a lot of BTC has decided they want to have nearly 20mn in liquid cash for the next year.

This is a good thing for the crypto economy. It will allow bitcoin ownership to become less concentrated and more people to buy in at a predictable price.
