bought into £VUAG (VOO but in pounds) so because the pound has been declining £VUAG is only down 10% from ATH (compared to 20% VOO)

so how do i lock in some of these indirect forex gains i have made? i have seen my broker has £IGUS (iShares s&p 500 gbp hedged) does that mean its basically uneffected by pound changes so if i swap my £VUAG to £IGUS i have "gained" that 10% diff essentially?
