Is my eye “presentable” enough to go to work tomorrow?

I got a pretty bad black eye on Thursday morning right before work that swelled shut and bruised over the course of the day. It didn’t take long for my boss to see me and send me home, telling me to come back when my “face looks more presentable.” I don’t know how long it’s going to take for my black eye to heal, but I really shouldn’t miss any more work, if I can avoid it. Do you think I’m good to go in?

if you want to speed it up
put 2 spoons in the freezer and use 1 at a time to help stop some of the blood flow

go to a family clinic at the least or schedule a different doctor from the one already seen. Get a second opinion from an eye doctor or something.
If it can't detect light at all it could have ruptured. Glass eye and eye patches in your future.

In the pic, I’m looking towards my nose. Only half my eye is red. No issues with my vision and I already had a CT scan that showed no fractures, luckily. I have a follow up with an ophthalmologist later this week, but I haven’t noticed any issues with my vision since my eye opened up from the swelling yesterday
