so this course is basically designed for 1st year MBA business students. if you can listen to the lectures and actually understand what Lo is talking about, then yes, they are good courses. if you are new to trading / investing, then much of the material will likely be too advanced for you at this time

the lectures are pretty thick, so you might not get through an entire session in 1 sitting. but yes, they are good. this is MIT - it doesn't get much better than that

the pandemic was a huge eye-opener for me. actually made use of the 2 years off i got to work on myself, get healthy (lost 40 lbs), wrote and recorded an album (music is my passion although i don't expect to make much if any money from it i still love it, highly recommend getting yourself a creative hobby on the side), and now after the vaccine mandates went away i got a full time permanent position in my industry making $12k more than I asked for (thanks Great Resignation for the job seekers market we're in). now im making great money, have a career path set up for me as i get to learn programming and other shit on the job, and just DCA'ing while there's blood in the streets into good companies to pad my retirement portfolio that i'll be holding long term.

i know some people will hate me for saying this but basically read jordan peterson's books and watch all of his most popular videos at a minimum (he's also got a lot of great recordings of his college courses for free on youtube, and has his own podcast now), and learn how to get your shit together. worked for me.
