Any /biz/nessmen here who are self employed or a small business owner ever taken anyone to small claims court in the uk?


would like to hear about the process and how it turned out

> Go to Brighthouse, ask for a TV on pay as you view
> Show a handwritten note I wrote myself as proof of employment
> Don't pay them anything
> Brighthouse take me to court
> I question the professionalism of the employees after taking a handwritten note, tell them I'm fucking mental
> Get told I have to pay back £11.00 a month
> Tell them no
> We go for a cigarette, the guy who took me to court is next to me
> 'Look mate, here's my card, we'll sort something out between us'
> I take his card
> 'You're not getting a penny, I've told you this'
> Bailiff turned up at my house a few weeks later
> Explain that he isn't getting anything and if he wants to try and get past me I'll break the cunts legs
> He leaves
> A few more bailiffs come to my house in following weeks, don't answer the door
> 2014, never paid anything
> Tfw free TV

Not the usual tale of a small claims court, my I enjoy the story none-the-less. It reminds me of why I never want to be poor again.

you might get a shock still when some other company ups the claim
