I can assure you that this does not come close to breaking my resolve. What bothers you about Algorand, anyway? Is it the fact that the foundation is distributing all the remaining ALGO over the next 8 years through grants and governance rewards? Is it the fact that relay nodes are on a default federated list which any participation node can add rouge relay nodes to on their own system whenever they want? What about the fact that all of FIFA’s blockchain-adjacent initiatives (wallet, NFTs, etc.) are going to run on Algorand? I understand they’re a pretty controversial organization, but billions of people watch that shit and they aren’t starting a boycott anytime soon! You can sell your stack whenever you want, but that isn’t going to change the fact that Algorand is the most viable blockchain for business applications. High security, 4-5 second finality, and actual inclusive decentralization thanks to Pure Proof of Stake’s use of cryptographic sortition. Neither Giant server rooms nor whales can truly dominate consensus like they do on PoW and PoS. Seriously, explain why Algorand is a midwit trap knowing everything you do about how it actually works.
