This happened to me today
>New company bought out apartment complex
>go to office to pay rent first time since the takeover
>new payment system in place
>3 options
>1. pay with credit or debit card, and pay extra 2.5% fee
>2. use new online payment system. Sounds good. Log on:

>option b) attach bank account and pay with no fee
>attach my checking account
>tells me I can't pay with bank account until account its verified
>2 small test deposits sent to my account. Will take 3 business days.
