I agree. The threat of rising oil prices and the suppressed silver price are a bad combination. History shows that mining stocks can be a great investment if you own them at the right time like in 1960. However, being that we are on the cusp of major economic upheavel, they can be very dangerous assets to own. Commodities are going to be hoarded and command a much higher purchasing price once all of the "value" of bogus financial assets take a haircut. I say this all the time, but Mexico being the largest owner of silver mines, I wouldn't be surprised if we start hearing saber rattling against the drug cartels as a precursor to grab some Mexican territory if they even think about commanding a higher silver price. All Putin has to do is offer to buy silver at $50 an ounce and shit could get ugly real quick. This is a matter of national security that our whole financial system is on the cusp of implosion unless inputs such as raw materials, labor, and oil are cheap.
I keep very shallow positions in a lot of these mining companies. I stay very well diversified because I think the risk is worth it. Overall I am extremely pessimistic and prefer to just buy physical assets. The way this seems to be playing out makes me think the system is actually broken and a lot of the shit we think we own is just not going to exist. Ponzi style.

3. huge corruption
4. Easily 30% of our population is on welfare
5. Huge deficits.

Hand piled rocks walls, just over a kilometer long, around 9 meters tall, and 15m wide, all pulled from the creek bed and stacked neatly into a buttress that the crew would live on. Pic related, the hand piles go all the way up the left slope of the creek, almost 100m above the creek in places, the layer of rocks is in places a meter thick. All that material was washed / worked by hand, these are older than similar walls done by crews of men with hydraulic cannons. The work must have been unimaginable.

to put it in perspective, the modern valley / gulch bottom is probably 30m lower than it would have been before it was mined. It was first worked by guys with simple wood sluices by hand, than probably in the 1920s by chinese with hydraulic cannons that just demolished the slopes. These men made geography. And yet with all the work they did, they still left me plenty of places to work by hand or with machine soon (hopefully) as their claim boundaries were so small back than. A man with a shovel can move a hill, a man with a monitor cannon will move mountains.

This is how ridiculous the whole situation is. I'm dumbfounded and speechless.

Depends on each individual case, how much dry powder they have left. The more they have, the longer they can afford to stockpile what they currently are mining, hoping for selling at a better price later on this year.
Usually, the larger their operations, the more cash reserves they have.
Neumeyer did this back in march-april 2020 when it dumped to stupid levels, and it paid of for him. But back then the barrel of oil was $40, so the operating costs were MUCH lower. Now at $110? Not sure he can continue to mine for very long, especially since First Majestic have one of the highest extraction costs among big miners (AISC around $21 for Q1 of this year...).

The juniors are gonna get rekt if they can't raise more funds, so expect some drastic (((dilutions))) incoming.
This is a re-run of summer 2018, kikes are going HARD after silber, they are flexing on us. This is nothing more than a display of absolute dominance, which make me think they are afraid.

Ive been buying coins but comparatively its far less metal than just buying in bulk. Id like to get more merc dimes but for the price I would only get 12oz vs 20oz buying bulk generic.
If things are going to get worse then Id like to go big, that way I can at least have a large sum at the ready while Ive already got a decent stack of smaller denominations.

Very risky, but yeah, most juniors are gonna be on fire sale (already are for a lot of them). If this (((situation))) last for several months tho, you can kiss goodbye to a lot of juniors and your money will go poof. I wouldn't take this risk in the current environment, especially when the physical counterpart is also on fire sale and will be increasingly rarer as more miners go under.
It will be a textbook case of
