What's the alternative? Hike rates and cause a debt crisis? Put millions out a job and watch them starve and become homeless. Either way the dollar and the US is doomed. The only way they can win is if they nuke china and russia and seize all their assets and given America's leadership is both weak and incompetent they will never do that. The course of least resistance and least short term pain is more money printing followed by more money printing and hope to kick the can down the road for another few years.
