Should I even try and get a job now if a recession is coming? Feels like it'd be pointless.

Also job search thread I guess

It has already begun. It literally was a employee market a month and a half ago and now it is completely opposite and thousands are already getting laid off.

I miss 2017 when /biz/ was full of /g/ anons but used as a cryptocurrency containment board. They actually know their shit at least.

Now in 2021-22 its full of retard subIQ /pol/ manchildren who gamble on shitcoins with absolutely no knowledge on crypto, blockchains or economics for that matter

You're being lied to by your favorite corporate media. Nobody here is saying that jobs are everywhere, except for bottom-tier wagie jobs that chew through applicants like a meat grinder. Even during the 'great resignation' last summer people were quitting one shit job to go to another job in the same industry that will pay the wage they were asking their first job for.

Getting more capital in your pocket to slurp with isn't a bad idea. But don't just apply for jobs, send your resume to recruiters and have them work for you for free (they get paid by the firm that hires you). It's much less stressful.

I don't consume media, every other thread on /biz/ is like
>just drove by 5 shops and all of them had 'we're hiring stickers'
I wish pol tourists just went back
