Saudi's can't bail us out of the oil crisis, only options is to generation our own and it will take years to do so.

Gas will skyrocket once reserves run out. Expect $10 a gallon before election year.
Crashing the global economy with no survivors.

Yes that is what I heard too. I also heard Putin's war is really causing issues for gas prices too. It really is just Putin mostly but also greedy gas companies. It just sucks because republicans are doing a misinformation by blaming this on Biden. Gas would easily be cheaper under Biden then Trump if Putin just wasn't a tyrant asshole. It really is that simple. There is nothing more to this crisis than that.

Sounds about right.

Basically we're witnessing a high stakes game of poker between a handful of players..

The US doesn't have anywhere near as much leverage as it once did.. There's others who are aware of this and are squeezing prices and supply chains to try and reshuffle the deck that the US has largely had control over for the past 40 odd years.

I think we're in for a wild ride this year and the next.

It is actually more efficient to generate power in a large plant, send it via the grid, and then charge battery, than to use a small internal combustion engine. Plus you can use cheaper fossil fuels, like coal or natural gas, and more effective air pollution scrubbing equipment.

That said, tanking the economy by kneecapping oil production is a fucking retarded way of getting people to buy EVs; no one will be able to afford them. EVs are now good enough for general commuter cars, but still years away from being able to replace all the large commerical vehicles needed to move food and basic consumer goods. Keystone Pipeline was never completed. Also it's entire purpose is to drag Canadian oil down to Texas refineries, which is where a lot of the supply bottleneck for gas currently is (remember in 2008 that oil prices were 20% higher than now yet gas prices were 20% lower), before exporting it, so it wouldn't change anything.

This is the subprime mortgage of the fossil fuel industry. The EROI on fracked wells is terrible (5:1 at best) and the wells go dry in a couple years.

What is important to remember is that this is not somehow isolated to Biden’s incompetence. He’s not even fully there anymore, so it’s the DNC that must be forever ousted from power and replaced with a party more like the Democrats of the 80s (which is the Republicans now, so what we really need is s new right wing party to fill the hole Republicans left). Anyone who leans left of center should vote Republican because that’s the party for you, and anyone right of middle would have to vote Republican because there’s nothing else. But the unparalleled incompetence of the DNC must at all cost be kept from any power in the future.

A lot of "green" policies were only rational. The US can produce all of its own electricity, but imports a lot of oil. Should've aggressively promoted vehicle fleet electrification.

Trying to force EV adoption early is just going to make people angry and not want them.

Why do you have to come up with these complicated theories to explain what can simply be explained by incompetence?
For example, all of our leaders have something in common, which is that they all attended universities, and most were heavily involved in student organizations and stuff. All this green energy, anti-white ideology... basically all the libshit mantras are all pushed hard in university, and they are always pushed more heavily in those who are invested in student organizations. I think it is simply much more likely that our leaders (and most of the "deep state" people too) are like this because they got brainwashed in college
