This is the price of being a nanny state, that people don't talk about. Yes they'll drone on about their healthcare and their guarantees but ignore their lack of economic freedom. Everybody bears the weight of an odious tax saddle on their back, the old powers are guaranteed and entrenched by the massive overbearing states and nothing new can be established or innovated, nor is there much desire to.

I just like Europe because I can get up, walk, buy the best bread or pastry, sit down on a bench near a park, eat the bread and just relax.

One other thing I noticed is the relationship to food and sharing, and the overall laid-back life.
European latin countries (spain, france, italy, portugal) know what life is all about : spending time with friends family, eating good meal, drinking good wine.

The rest of the word drinking on cheap beer that is like bread, eating things I would not give to my dog and complain why they don't have a good life.

The OP's implication is economic stagnation. Economic stagnation implies rot and that inevitably implies declining standards of life. Lower relative incomes and economic freedom. I don't consider your life better than mine. You can't buy a large beautiful house with a mountainside view for $400k, but I can. You can't make $150k working from home in a low-effort tech job while enjoying comparably lower total taxes, but I can. You are a slave to the system you cherish that promises guarantees in exchange for your freedom and upside. That's the exchange that has been made, acting as if we don't have endless expanses of nature, plenty of quiet small towns, and vacation spots, is just retarded, because we have that in excess.

I live in Latvia, eastern EU. Average monthly salary is ~1000 eur after tax. Food prices are similar to that in central and western europe. I pay 34% tax a self-employed person, it's about 45% for a LLC employee since on top of that 34 (that already includes the social tax) the employer has to pay additional social tax out of their pocket.
Waiting for a subsidized medical appointment can take months, 6+ in case of MRI. Of course you can get an appointment faster if you pay out of your own pocket, with the same MRI being 120-200 eur depending on the body part and the clinic. A lot of people decide to pay for a medical insurance (privately) which covers a part of the expenses, which cuts into the shitty salaries even more.

who fucking gives a shit about poor shitters?
i could not give a fuck how the most worthless pathetic 20% of society live
fuck them and let them die in a ditch
middle class americans live like kings compared to europeans and they aren't so amazing that they deserve twice the salary europeans get it's just their economy isn't fucked and saddled with impossible baggage
even healthcare is a good example: if you're an actually functioning human being with a sensible healthcare plan then in america you have zero waiting times and the best service in the world whereas in europe you have months long waiting lists and decade old service because the state is too busy tending to the chronically ill obese shitters of society
i am fucking tired of human trash dragging the rest of us down
i am fucking tired of paying nearly 40% of my gross income in tax

That Boeing survived after so many crashes proves that the US is turning into an entrenched economy with feudal overlords as well. Sad!

>Nigga, european entrepreneurs go to USA for cash and to pay less taxes

Do you think anyone's arguing against that? That's the literal basis of the United States since it was created. A European peasant wakes up, has an idea, says "this place sucks" and then goes off to America to actually make some cash and do something. And then they become an American. It's the only reason we've retained some/any semblance of economic freedom up to this point, that spirit guides the country even as nefarious forces attempt to make us a soft socialist nanny state too.

Germany. 52% income tax. 19% VAT. And a bunch of other hidden tax you dont have in the US. Medical system is so overloaded if you rely on the public healthcare (which is really no difference than an insurance in the US, just you cannot opt out) enjoy your 1+ year waiting times for a scan

Not even mentioning our energy prices having gone up 80% yoy. Please get me out of this shithole.
