Silver and gold hold to a generally semi-elastic ratio. Control the (much smaller) silver market and you control the gold market.

They are. See: Oil. Silver and Gold are money though, with silver being an overleveraged, oversold, weak point in the financial system. Worked out fine when I sold some at over $40 in 2011 accumulated for like $5 an ounce and is working out fine right now as I stack sub-$10 ounces. There are many ways to approach PMs and they're certainly not all equal. Retards buying tops are NGMI but if you buy low ya can't lose.

I don't think the tie between gold and silver is what others make of it. Silver is primarily an industrial metal (and a good one) while gold is a jewelry and monetary metal. What would be the lowest denomination or even lowest weight of coin and purity would you anons accept as payment for something in the event of an economy recession, collapse, or downturn?
I'll start, 1 cent penny coins of at least 90% pure copper for my lowest limit, and I would accept any silver coin of at least 40% silver like some kennedy's but won't go lower than 40% silver personally desu
