Another weekend gone. So much promise on Friday evening. It was sunny and hot and sunset wasn't until after 9 pm.

Saturday morning was so comfy and work seemed a million miles away. I went to the gym on Saturday evening and lifted heavy weights and the gym was so empty. Saturday evening always feels so great, even though I spend it alone every single time, doing nothing in particular.

I filled Sunday morning and early afternoon with chores but the thought of wagecuckery loomed large. I had a mild existential crisis from 4 pm to 7 pm when I realised how disgustingly ugly I am and how my life is so hard as a result. I went for an aimless walk on Sunday evening and then had another fast food binge and then listened to music until now, 12:23 am.

The cold light of day on Monday morning. Having nothing interesting to say when coworkers ask what I did. Finishing work and having nothing to do and having the full week ahead.

in the same boat unfortunately, alarm due to go off in 6.5 hours yet i'm still here. 40 hours of work ahead, pointless questions, meaningless interactions, mental exhaustion. It's all so tiresome.

You can celebrate like one. Quit your job in Friday.

Back to the main theme of this thread however, now that I think about it... the best time in my life was when I broke my wrist and I stayed home from work for two weeks until I recovered from surgery. The second week, I went outside and walked around town without a worry in the world. Went and got an iced coffee and just sat on a park bench. It was so blissful.

Wagecucking is a crime. I don't know how people can do 30+ years of it. HOw do you not end up a lifeless shell of what you were after that?

On Friday I got stuck in traffic, nearly pissed myself, and a wrong turn had me cross a major (toll) bridge THRICE.
Then on Saturday I came down with a cold and wasted a day.
Today I went to the Met and had a good time. Saw lots of good art and half-naked young girls (god bless summer).
Tomorrow the fun continues as I will be going back to the Met to see the rest of the art I didn't get a chance to see today. If I have time I'll try to make it up to another museum as well.
Ahh it feels good to be retired at 30 because I bought bitcoin several years ago. Literally just buy and hold, that was all it took. Now I have time to bodybuild and cultivate my cultural sensibilities.
