Let's talk about chainlink powered insurance. Is there a chance that oracle powered insurance wont disrupt trad insurance industry?
I don't work in that field but I cannot imagine how something done automatically is not way more efficient than operators having to do some tasks manually

I genuinely do work in the industry, for an insurance software company. A market leading one. I think link WILL disrupt the industry, it’s ripe for so much more automation and smart contracts will be tremendously powerful. However absolutely nobody is talking about it let alone looking at proof of concept, certainly not at my business.

I’m 35, I’m still stacking link tokens but I’m almost certain to be made a millionaire through work in the next 2-3 years anyway, as I hold a fair bit of equity here and we’ll be selling or going public fairly soon.
In the mean time I’m going to continue pushing blockchain and hopefully link internally, but I don’t expect it to go anywhere here.

I didn’t mean it in a negative way. Im just saying it will probably take longer than 1 or 2 years. Im planning on not even considering to sell until 2030. Im a firm believer that thoughts can control your reality. I don’t let this negativity effect me. Im on track to get a nice paying job next year when I graduate and /biz/ has taught me a-lot about budgeting. I don’t need anything special and I’m fine waiting for the “finer” things until I have more than enough money to afford them.
