The C3 protocol is a great example of this. All the actual market computations are native to Algorand, the commands just come from Ethereum. State Proofs are kind of like a mini rollup, but just for your transaction. When you buy an ALGO call on Ethereum, you send funds to an Ethereum smart contract, a state proof is sent to Algorand describing the order and the amount, and the position is sent from Algorand back to Ethereum in the form of another state proof. This should hopefully all happen in a minute.
