There is no reason for it to dump against the market though. No hacks, no scandals, no blow off tops. Just steady progress. When BTC and ETH dumped (more like when ETH cratered because of deleveraging), LINK did dump but considerably less than BTC and ETH. This irrefutably proved that LINK is being shorted hard by CeFi using ETH, which was later confirmed by wallet autists.

For now the result is the same, but there will be a moment where the shorting circlejerk no longer works. I have my eyes on september (inb4 two more months muhreen!!!), but it could easily be longer. All I know is that when it happens, many people will be caught with their pants down.
