What helped me the most is kegel-like exercises. I avoided them because reddit said kegels made muscles more tight...

Physiotherapist gave me this exercise and it basically goes as follows: Tighten your lower stomach, clench butthole, tighten all pelvic muscles and HOLD.. then focus on the RELEASE.

Also make sure you are breathing into your lower stomach, feel that your lower stomach fully expands when breathing. Chances are you're stressed/tense and breathing with your shoulders..

She stuck a finger in my butt and said that I had a good clench but my release was weak, so I need to train the muscles that "let go". This is how you do that.

Damn I can’t believe how many of you also have it. I don’t have hard flaccid although i am aware of it from my time studying jelqing and stretching. My pain was a lot worse months ago but it has gotten better, especially since I started the stretches. There’s a guy on YT called Uptown Mike that shows which stretches to do. You have to change your diet. Cut all processed food, dairy, onions, nuts etc. My diet is currently meat, seafood, orange juice, pineapple juice, cooked broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, zucchini, dried pineapple, dried goji berries.

If you are feeling the pain and discomfort primarily on the left side, that's a big indicator that it's probably your diet.

There may also be a muscle tension aspect but it's probably stemming from the inflammation.
