One of the most stand up people in crypto, fighting for all of us, not just his own chain. One of the few credible leaders left in the space who's also able to articulate our (crypto's) collective wants and needs.

I don't know if you ever watched some of his videos, but he's clearly on our side. One of the few who dares to speak out against vaccine and covid policy, deplatforming / cancel culture, Schwab, etc.

The other options that are left are Sam and Vitalik, both of which are in bed with WEF and are NOT fighting for us, they intend to schwab us all.

What vaporware? Current product is superior to anything else? Why would they do the effort to build the most decentralized and scalable blockchain solution to date if they don't intend to deliver? The chain is gaining adoption faster than anything else right now, an increasing amount of builders from Ethereum and Solana are jumping ship.

I'm very much up. Initially bought at 5c, sold most during 2021, and starting accumulating again below $1. Made good money buying the first tokens in December when the first dex came out. Been accumulating some jpegs which are doing well too, 3rd in NFT volume and rising fast.

Not so worried about my bags, they got no competitors, and all the tech around them has been crumbling under the load, or collapsed from everybody being over-leveraged.
Maybe you've not noticed that the bottom for ADA was at 12 May and it's held up very well since then. Look how it's performing vs BTC and ETH. Take a look at the projects already live, like WorldMobile, Empowa, Atala Prism, providing real world use cases for blockchain, and creating value instead of just making another ponzi factory.

I wonder if you've even used the chain recently, it appears not.

Solana hasn't even been able to keep their chain up 24/7/365. Their entire organization is scummy and it's built with the intention to go quick to market with no regard for user's funds or safety. Paste a beta label on it and use real money, so the insiders could cash out.

Ethereum has shown this year it can't handle the load, and that they're not even remotely ready to handle the merge yet. Their UX is still clunky and it's nearly impossible to write efficient and secure code on it. Ethereum peaked already and for the next 5 years they're not gonna be very relevant.

Reposting what I said in the other thread.
He gave a cute little speech. Presented himself well and was eloquent. But didn't actually answer the question or present a framework to initiate the discussion on how to regulate crypto. He really went there and said "it depends" like it was an answer. Good move for his own image and Cardano's optics, shit for crypto. He had a real opportunity to outline a proposal for how crypto could be regulated so as to allow the continued growth of the community and the market and instead chose to make himself look good.

You dont need haskell to build a dapp on cardano, like how you dont need rust or solidity to build a dapp on solana or ethereum respectively. There will always be tools built which interface with the network in the language that people prefer. Like, if you dont want to use haskell, just use marlowe.

On another note, many devs on cardano are waiting for vasil hardfork because it introduces reference scripts. Thats the real key thing people are waiting on.

As someone who does know, Marlowe's not a tool to build a DEX with. It's mostly a kind of lego brick style building of contracts, for example for a presale, or escrow, or gradual release of coins/tokens, etc.

It's especially useful for (financial) businesses sp that they can easily put together their own contracts, and know they are secure and will work. I don't epect normies to go and play around in Marlowe a lot.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Cardano. The tech is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of blockchain science most of the tech will go over a typical investor’s head. There's also Charles’ optimistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation - his personal philosophy draws heavily from reddit literature, for instance. The investors understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of the tech, to realize that they're not just innovative - they say something deep about the blockchain. As a consequence people who dislike Charles Hoskinson truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Charles’ existencial catchphrase “smart contracts EOY” which itself is a cryptic reference to Sergey Nazarov’s Russian Scam Chainlink. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Charles Hoskinson’s genius unfolds itself on their screens. What fools... how I pity them. And yes by the way, I DO have a Cardano and Charles tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- And even they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand
