I'm very much up. Initially bought at 5c, sold most during 2021, and starting accumulating again below $1. Made good money buying the first tokens in December when the first dex came out. Been accumulating some jpegs which are doing well too, 3rd in NFT volume and rising fast.

Not so worried about my bags, they got no competitors, and all the tech around them has been crumbling under the load, or collapsed from everybody being over-leveraged.
Maybe you've not noticed that the bottom for ADA was at 12 May and it's held up very well since then. Look how it's performing vs BTC and ETH. Take a look at the projects already live, like WorldMobile, Empowa, Atala Prism, providing real world use cases for blockchain, and creating value instead of just making another ponzi factory.

Solana hasn't even been able to keep their chain up 24/7/365. Their entire organization is scummy and it's built with the intention to go quick to market with no regard for user's funds or safety. Paste a beta label on it and use real money, so the insiders could cash out.

Ethereum has shown this year it can't handle the load, and that they're not even remotely ready to handle the merge yet. Their UX is still clunky and it's nearly impossible to write efficient and secure code on it. Ethereum peaked already and for the next 5 years they're not gonna be very relevant.

He really went there and said "it depends" like it was an answer. Good move for his own image and Cardano's optics, shit for crypto. You dont need haskell to build a dapp on cardano, like how you dont need rust or solidity to build a dapp on solana or ethereum respectively. There will always be tools built which interface with the network in the language that people prefer. Like, if you dont want to use haskell, just use marlowe.

On another note, many devs on cardano are waiting for vasil hardfork because it introduces reference scripts. Thats the real key thing people are waiting on.

As someone who does know, Marlowe's not a tool to build a DEX with. It's mostly a kind of lego brick style building of contracts, for example for a presale, or escrow, or gradual release of coins/tokens, etc.

It's especially useful for (financial) businesses sp that they can easily put together their own contracts, and know they are secure and will work. I don't epect normies to go and play around in Marlowe a lot.
