It's all financial decisions, so that's rather fair, not comparable to political elections offchain. Everyone can have the voting power that's within their means. Contrast this with Hedera where you can't vote at all, even if you were willing to commit a large amount of your net worth to the project. That's a strictly worse system, IMO.
