We need to lower demand to stop inflation so the government needs to cut its spending because govt spending is also demand, raise taxes on the middle class, or raise interest rates high enough to make real rates positive.

The first won’t happen and the 3rd is impossible because pic related

I don’t see the 2nd happening either. Basically inflation is here to stay.
