Yes, several I think. Here are a few I recall:
>Austria had a few very high denomination Silver Schiling coins that are still redeemable and worth more in face than in metal content
>Denmark, Spain, France and a few other countries mint commemoratives with Face Values substantially higher than their Silver content
>Canada had the $20 for $20 series which was something like 1/4 oz for $20 CAD and a bunch if other high value commemoratives you can't legally spend due to their Cucked laws
>Silver Swiss 5 Francs and Silver Japanese 100 Yen have been worth more in face than Silver content as recently as 2020 despite having last been minted more than 50 years ago
>I think some high value British and Canadian Commemoratives from the early 80s were worth substantially more than Face in the 90s, but I don't have a Silver price chart to back it up

To be fair mate, you could just use cash for exchanging goods and services, doing domestic trades work in Australia is comical how much tax dodging goes on with cash payment

It depends on your country to what figure banks flag it and report it to the taxation office, in Australia it is $10k, that doesn't really mean anything though, they don't investigate it, it just gets flagged and the tax office can look it up moving forward if they want to. Also you pay cash on income, if the proceeds aren't income you don't pay income tax on them, in Australia buying and selling precious metals is a hobby and your sweet (unless it is blatantly your source of income)

In India, we have charges for making the coin. So if cost of gold 22k is lets say 4600 INR, and you buy a 10g coin,

The cost breakdown is like this:
10*4600 + 10*4600*0.015 + Tax

It is literally the cost of making the coin. Different jewelers charge different making charges.

>1) is crypto a scam?
Most crypto is a scam, look how many altcoins end up being complete rugpulls. I'm a bitcoin maxi as it is the only one that is wholly decentralized and peer-to-peer, but even then when you bring exchanges into the equation most of them are centralized or just make you trade crypto on paper. ETH is probably the biggest scam of them all, I don't understand why so many people slobber over Vitalik's unwashed dick. Too many people see crypto as get rich quick and distort the original intent of decentralized and peer-to-peer. Buying BTC on paypal/robinhood is the same thing as trading paper silver, having your BTC on a hardware wallet is the same thing as having your silver at home in a safe. If you can't immediately transfer your BTC onto offline storage it isn't yours, and keeping BTC on an exchange will end up in a rug when they inevitably file for bankruptcy. I stack both BTC and PMs as I see them as a double pronged attack against the real enemy.
>2) is gold a good buy or should I go with silver? Only have like $4k
A lot of anons will tell you different Au:Ag stack ratios, but keep in mind where it's currently trading (80:1) and what the historical ratio was when we had real money (15:1), and some anons could tell you the actual production ratio. I stack 40:1 Ag:Au but between the two Ag has the much higher chance to moon.

There are ways to get around CGT without breaking the law, even the Royal Mint tells you how to do it. You could in theory sell all of your silver that's £200,000 and all you would have to do is spread the receipts across different years under £12,500. The issue then is getting a company to put these sales on their books on specific years, but will they be willing to do that at the risk of being audited.

The stack is disorganized with no clear theme. Multiple types of coin and bar are present, with no seeming relation between them aside from the fact that all cost more than the cheapest of coins but none of them are particularly valuable. The stacker has neither committed to buying the cheapest possible metals nor to paying for some decent numismatics. Instead they stubbornly and slavishly went for the mediocre, the middle line, with every purchase.
Despite this the collection has relatively few oddball or unusual purchases. It is for the most part the work of a conformist that seeks to both fit in with instantly recognizable tropes, but also to subtly exceed in ways that will impress others without making them jealous or angry. The size of the collection also reflects this desire. It's a large pile, but certainly not the largest ever. Something others could aspire to and still admire the owner for amassing.

Overall I give it a 7/10 for its weight class as compared to other stacks. Messy, mediocre, but not at all bad for what it is. Not much thought put into it, but thinking isn't for everyone.

Bro. Those euro coins have low premiums for a reason. They have low demand and are harder to re-sell. It’s fine to collect if you like them, but a common year ungraded euro coin is harder to offload. Stop worrying about premiums and buy modern mints. When gold takes off, you’ll be glad you have coins that are both easily recognizable and trusted with the weight and purity stamped on the coin.
