I know of some of the Canadian Olympic coins minted around the high silver price of the 80s that have a face value of $10 to $20 Canadian.

To be fair mate, you could just use cash for exchanging goods and services, doing domestic trades work in Australia is comical how much tax dodging goes on with cash payment

It depends on your country to what figure banks flag it and report it to the taxation office, in Australia it is $10k, that doesn't really mean anything though, they don't investigate it, it just gets flagged and the tax office can look it up moving forward if they want to. Also you pay cash on income, if the proceeds aren't income you don't pay income tax on them, in Australia buying and selling precious metals is a hobby and your sweet (unless it is blatantly your source of income)

No, it's strictly UK face value coins. Gold/silver/platinum/sovereign coins with the monarchs head on the obverse. Gold is the only precious metal where you don't pay VAT, that also includes sovereigns as those are 22K gold (around 91.6% gold even though they can look like copper coins).

In India, we have charges for making the coin. So if cost of gold 22k is lets say 4600 INR, and you buy a 10g coin,

The cost breakdown is like this:
10*4600 + 10*4600*0.015 + Tax

A lot of anons will tell you different Au:Ag stack ratios, but keep in mind where it's currently trading (80:1) and what the historical ratio was when we had real money (15:1), and some anons could tell you the actual production ratio. I stack 40:1 Ag:Au but between the two Ag has the much higher chance to moon.

There are ways to get around CGT without breaking the law, even the Royal Mint tells you how to do it. You could in theory sell all of your silver that's £200,000 and all you would have to do is spread the receipts across different years under £12,500. The issue then is getting a company to put these sales on their books on specific years, but will they be willing to do that at the risk of being audited.

The stack is disorganized with no clear theme.
