all sides of journalism are infected by cringe people making articles for their own convenience anyways

journalism is cringe. the press is the enemy of the people

True believers are cringe. Scammers are cringe. Gamblers don't get views.

Even here you have plenty of people unironically saying "research" in crypto topics. For a fucking gambling asset where you try to predict the movement of the herd of greater fools.

Has it right.

Because the sites paying writers will only pay enough for badly spun AI or pajeets. More legit finance sites have branched out lately but they’ve had to be very careful since google can be touchy about crypto and safety. Not doing it right will hurt their ranking in search results and potentially tank a major site. Beyond that, the only crypto pieces that do well at bigger sites are cautionary tales written for boomers and those not actively involved. You can make a story about a horrendous rug pull work because it entertains those who don’t have a horse in that race. Something positive gets no clicks, and if Google disagrees could have your news articles sinking for a month.
Basically there’s not a market for it. Crypto youtubers do fine since the target audience prefers that format and is easier to manipulate there. A site with actual written work would struggle since the audience isn’t there.

only 1% of crypto followers even understand tech fundamentals
only coindesk can afford to hire decent writers who also understand crypto
telegraph is the second biggest website and it's full of pajeet writers who don't even understand what they're writing about, just vaguely rewording press releases

Psychopaths are charismatic, charming, and persuasive. If you're judging journalists on cringe levels instead of honest info you're looking to be indoctrinated by psychopaths

I work in the blockchain space providing technical services and I am often astounded at how little people in crypto really know or understand about the technology.
The bell curve meme is unironically reality.
