to be fair a lot of the important material is something you have to learn on your own. concepts like graph theory, time complexity, and logical proofs actually give you a large advantage over other developers that went through a boot camp. but then again, depending on the company you end up getting hired for you might not even use any of that and just get stuck with legacy tech and not advance in your career in terms of your skillset. the gap in tech literacy between generations and the low supply coupled with high demand leaves you with potential employers that might make you question getting an education, much like a finbro getting a full time job doing excel after graduating from business school.

I use about a month's worth of knowledge, but none of the depth, from:

Good aesthetics have been removed from American culture. Is it profitable to create a city that looks good for the sake of looking good? Yes, Paris, Detroit and Chicago WERE proof of that.
