GDP figure is such a meme now i'm not sure if it's even worth mentioning this, but a recession is two negative quarters for GDP growth.
that being said with unlimited money and credit GDP usually doesn't go fucking down.. we have probably been in a recession in real terms since at LEAST 2007.
