Not OP but I have something of an existential crisis.

Im a mid level manager at a Walmart. I wear a dumb vest and stock cereal all day. That being said, I genuinely enjoy my job. I get stoned every day, bants with my bros, new QTs coming in all the time. I'm a midwit but I look like a genius compared to some of my coworkers.
I make enough money to support my lifestyle and I anticipate a promotion within the next year.

I’m a plumber, I like my job. It’s not a job that many can’t or don’t want to do but I’m quite comfy, it’s mostly Eastern Europeans in my company so we don’t kill ourselves like Mexicans do. Some days are hard some days are simple. You’ll build muscle and skill the longer you stay in it. Also if you ever plan to buy a house you can always modify it without paying crazy prices since a length of 4” copper is about 800$, it was 250$ like 3 years ago.

The only thing that sucks is that you will be tired on those hard days and it might be hard to plan out the afternoons. Side jobs are also nice, I have a friend who likes to unclog toilets and he charges 300$+ for like 20 minutes of work but those aren’t a reliable source of income since those jobs pop out randomly. Another co worker is making a radiant heating systems on his own and is charging something stupid like 15k but that’s about a month worth of work.
