If you bought anything under the entire total of a specific product (like a limited run of a specific anime figure), and then resold after when the production run has stopped I would not consider that scalping. As with everything, it's a bit subjective but I think most people would identify scalping as giving yourself an unfair advantage to purchasing a product and then reselling that product back for more money because nobody else can buy.
