Here's a general rule of thumb for any financial or business related shit.

If they have to 'argue' their case about 'use cases', that's the immediate red flag that should see you out. Successful or solid businesses/projects do not need to prove their worth. It is self-evident. You don't see private train companies plastering you with adverts to buy their tickets because their value is obvious. Most Insurance companies don't even have to do it (although there are plenty of struggling ones which do). If a business or 'project' is endlessly in your web pages with adverts, or is always shown on TV, it means that it's actual value is dubious, and it's relying on an endless stream of brainwashed customers from adverts to break even.
