This makes me think of the giga depression we Finns had in the early 90s, when our money was cheap as fuck and banks along with pension sector invested into absolute horseshit scam projects in tax havens and lost it all.

They're basically just gambling institutions.
Scariest part is that on average they need to pull about 6-7% yearly or they're not even breaking even.
They're flat out unsustainable when economy isn't pulling constant growth.
Imagine if the West ended up in a Japan style situation where we went sideways for 30 years straight. Every pension fund would shit the bed within the first decade.
I wager we're going to see a lot of the boomies calling their kids and demanding a free place to stay. Too bad the generational wealth building didn't quite work and the younger generations don't have places to house their parents.
It's going to be an interesting ride when these big players start collapsing.

I own an industrial firm that mostly cleans up messes left by bankrupted junior miners. I work for the EPA, USDA, DOI, and individual mining companies. In 20 years I've never come anywhere close to running out of work. Junior miners drop like flies in bear markets, and at a steady clip in bull markets as well.

A 12mill MC explorer call nine mile metals posted some XRF results of their core samples a few days ago. They got some real nutty grades, averaging more than 7% copper over like 20 meters. They're supposed to be getting the formal assays sometime soon, which may include some bonus gold. Not really sure if I want to gamble on this one though since there are a bunch of things I'm unfamiliar with. Does anyone know how accurate XRF is anyway and why more companies wouldn't be using them to post some preliminary results given the long assay lab delays?
