I am hopeful man, but not so sure. Because of how sickeningly tied to the stocks and tradfi structure crypto now is, it makes me have doubts it'll survive as the world economy blows up all around us.
We are only feeling the beginning of the ever worsening food logistics problem too.
I'd like to be more bullish, but these times seem much more dire than last year's.

The only way BTC hits $100k by the end of this year is if the fed pivots 180 degrees and sets the printers running at a pace we have not yet imagined possible.

The scenario here is a major deflationary collapse in the summer - bank failures, stock market meltdown, and a panicking fed does one last hail mary to prevent complete systemic failure.

My point is - if BTC hits $100k this year, then BTC hitting $100k will be the LEAST interesting thing going on in the world.

We WERE tied to stocks as a result of QE and normie niggers jumping headfirst into meme stocks and crypto with their freshly printed Trump/Biden bucks.
Now that these niggers have lost their money only the professionals and BTC maxis remain.
However with utter dogshit such as ADA DOGE and LINK still valued in the billions i think we have a few more legs downward.

Exactly, we are still over valued and I argue still tied to the stocks. I've watched the stocks and crypto continue their lockstep movements even now. The connection is not gone and it wont be gone so long as leveraged coins and institutional money is still out there which makes me think it'll never be gone.
Look I'm not a pro crypto guru either, but I watched and studied the shift in behavior because I'm autistic and love charts and numbers. I'm not convinced they are gone or are truly fully leaving.

I think you got the market completely wrong. At the moment it’s too easy to be a bear while crypto is down. Don’t forget we have the merge this year. No way crypto dives as far as you’d like within a few months. But keep dreaming for $0 lmao

So you think this wont dump at the next fed hike in July? Given our history it will. In fact, it should only pump if we get 0.25 or 0 hikes in the meeting. As the 0.25 hike did cause a rally before our first of two major dips.

>> No.49737521

I can’t say what it will do but I do not think there are legs down from current prices. It’s just euphoric bears dreaming just as euphoric bears were dreaming of 100-250k EOY last year. There are bull cases that remain and just as we switch off, it can switch back on as long as equities cooperate and I believe it will given what ECB is starting to do

Inflation won't be tamed for the next 2 years.
We need BTC to untether from money printing and start working again as an inflation hedge.

That would be nice, yes, but it didn't really pan out as planned so far as that hedge and the correlation with TradFi and stocks right now says hasn't divorced yet.
Do I like this? To be honest, no. I preferred when crypto acted independently, but buddy it has cost me a lot of money trying to ignore and wish away the strong connection now so I'm not fighting it anymore.
If we want to make it, we need to constantly adapt to changing environments.

This is the single only correct answer in the entire thread. The only way BTC hits anywhere near 100k, hell anywhere near the ATH of 69k, would be if the US and by extension all other major financiers of the entire fucking world went full retard on the printers and introduced more funni munni than anyone can even picture in their minds eye as stacks of hundreds at one time. That's literally the only way and it would basically be the end of the world as anyone knows it as every country descends into hyperinflationary chaos that will absolutely end up culminating with WW3 if not also civil war(s).

Anyone that denies this or supposes a different hypothesis under which this insane bullshit idea could ever fucking happen is getting paid to do so or is so retarded they make anyone they ever come in contact with permanently dumber for having had the experience.

Not necessary to be autistic for that. You could see it pretty clearly, that stocks and crypto in some events took the same route.
