49700944 No.49700944 [Reply] [Original]

Chainlink is on the brink of releasing massive features with virtually unlimited real-world adoption possibilities, and has the highest cash reserves in crypto history while top legacy crypto projects like ETH and Coinbase are practically running on fumes.

Chainlink is the next step for crypto in so many ways.

No one knows. Funny how Sergey keeps saying you shouldn't trust central authorities but use trustless solutions like proof of reserve but this does not apply to Clabs itself...

>> No.49701055

>>49701024
Nobody has anything to do with Chainlink's own funding other than Chainlink itself.
Proof of reserve applies to projects/protocols that handle other people's money.

Getting really tired arguing with clueless zoomers in here.

Publicly trading companies publish their balance sheet every quarter in tradfi. If Sergey was serious about "providing cryptographic guarantees instead of trust" when comparing crypto to tradfi he should make the balance sheet public on the blockchain with a proof of reserve as proof

Chainlink is not a publicly traded company.

>f Sergey was serious about "providing cryptographic guarantees instead of trust" when comparing crypto to tradfi he should make the balance sheet public
There is no reason to "trust" Chainlink and its financial situation.
Cryptographic guarantees apply to projects/protocols that handle OTHER PEOPLE's money.

you've seen what happens when early stage crypto projects announce their levels of liquidity, right?
it's best for Chainlink to play with their cards close to their chest so some Chinese version of SBF doesn't come through to snipe them.,

Your reply clearly shows you still don't understand what Chainlink is aiming for. They're more publicly traded than most publicly traded companies.

So don't start your OP with "has the highest cash reserves in crypto history" if you're then going to say muh no one has to know their reserves it matters to no one. Looks like it matters to you at least

Ok this I can understand, this makes sense. Then Deco could be used for some zk proof maybe

This is gibberish.
Chainlink is not a publicly traded company, end of.

Why not?

We don't know exactly, and the exact details are none of our business, no.
What's confusing you here?
We don't know exactly when features like staking will be released, and that's really none of our business until they announce it either.

The difference here is cash reserves. Chainlink has it in cash. No selling pressure in a low buy volume environment for funding like most projects.

Why do you think ETH gets raped in bear markets like the past few days?

Its part speculation but its pretty damn evident they have it in cash. You dont just expand like they did without a large amount of cash, not BTC/Eth.

Sergey is confident in his projects and it it has met critical mass. He has enough exposure to the market with the Link tokens they hold as is. It makes no sense to sell them for btc/eth for funding reserves. Especially not in the way he structured the selling for so long.

All the amateur projects sell their tokens to speculate on eth/btc.

LINK is not new tech, a hidden gem, or a coming 10-100x. LINK is mainstream and is in Twitter roasties bio. It’s a corporate entity now, so Sergey has to dump another 750k LINK to hire talent managers and diversity officers. LINK hasn’t been the biz token for a year. Just sell anons... i-i-iit’s over. It was a good ride.
