Depends what your reference is. If you put say $10k in at $60k, then at $20k you're down 67%, if it went to $0 then you'd still only lose another 33% of your initial. Its if you put more money in now, if you put another $10k in, then if it went to $7k or w/e you'd lose another 67%.
