Nah. We are unironically still in a time of economic prosperity. Gas prices have more than doubled and people are barely whining. Everyone has more money than they know what to do with, everyone works from home so is saving money on food and gas and other dumb shit like going out for drinks with co workers. Households that used to need 2 cars now only need 1. Poor people who bought homes in cities 10-20+ years ago for like $100k now are selling their homes for $500k+ and moving to rural areas and are unironically richer than they ever could have believed.

Employment at its highest levels. Literally nobody is in jeopardy.
