My autism is telling me to buy RLC it is bouncing hard and the main reason I want to buy it is because it looks futuristic with many utility use cases. Why shouldn't I buy RLC when its market cap is low and supply is low?/.

5 years later and still only has two users
There's barely anything going on in the test net
Development doesn't seem to be going anywhere lately
I still hold but I expect to be holding for years until I get to see decent returns

The founder is a clueless boomer. The team has lost all its talents over the last 2 years.
Why would anyone buy this piece of shit at this stage is beyond me.

I would be willing to hold it for at least 5 years because the team is growing bigger based on Twitter posts and they are niche

If you knew what NOIA was, you wouldn't bother with RLC

I know what it is and I know that RLC gives me a better chance at making it

that's actually mind boggling, I assumed you didn't know

Serious question, how is how is RLC different than AKT? Obviously, NOIA isn't tackling the same problem, but it's in the same category sort of.

>> No.49625220

/biz/ shits on it but it’s one of the only projects that had been around through several crashes that still has active development on it.
/biz/ will seethe when it makes people on here millionaires. Gilles is legitimately 200+ Iq

RLC is extremely complex and I don't really want to compare it to anything. Akt is in the same realm as in computing but RLC is more than just computing if that makes sense. A lot of the use cases are memes or non existent but that's the funny part about life

I haven't seen any real reasons not to buy some as it seems pretty safe given the years it's survived and the circulating supply on top of the team supposedly doing a lot this year. I think it's one of the safest plays so I'm buying some cause I just convinced myself

feel free not to respond since this is low effort on my part, but I have a super hard time thinking there's a large business case for decentralized compute. In my work we evaluate AWS/Azure/GCP and dive into their details like physical security. That's all out the window and you have no idea wtf you're getting if the compute can just be anyone, or even if it's a few select providers that are reputable, but we don't give a shit we just want the best, it's all fairly cheap anyway.

>> No.49625489

>>49625312
It's not just about the surface level idea of decentralized compute it's about the new tech it brings from that. I think that's a big reason why companies like Microsoft and Intel even mention it let alone partner with them. They have been working with Intel for a long time.
People will eventually want decentralized everything so compute is safe in my book
