Your mistake was not selling LINK when it was higher and choosing to instead pointlessly hold it through the bear market. If you sold at over $40 you'd have given yourself quite nice profits you bought under $5. And if you bought at $0.5 or less, you'd still have nice profits if you sold at $10. If you bought at $0.5 to $1, don't worry, there's a good chance you'll see ALL of your profits vanish as BTC is likely going under $15k which will drive the LINK price below $1.
