I will say, because I have a large brick and mortar business, I am stuck in IL.
I'm 5 hours from Chicago, but they still KINDA shit the place up with the tax laws.
But even IL state legislature is so conservative that Chicago can only do minor amounts of damage.
If you go anywhere but IL you will feel no negative effect at all from the urban shitholes.
IN, OH, KY, IL, IA, MO, NE, MN, WI etc are all good.
