Anyone else /barelymakeit/ this bullrun and quit their job and now terrified at the prospect of inflation and market crashes forcing them back to the wage cage? I made 1.1 million this bull run after taxes and moved majority of it to 'safe' vanguard funds, but it's already down to 700k and I'm scared shitless.

I'd rather have never made the money at all than have made it and escape the cage and then lose it all and have to go back to it. Fuck.

You're not going to lose it all if you just leave it alone. You will probably have to go back to the wage cage at some point though

just keep it in a savings account for now
losing 5% a year or so is no big deal keeping it in the market you will lose up to 50% still regardless of were you have it including index funds. whats so hard about waiting a year or two until things start climbing again?

Wtf did you move it to vanguard? This is the thing with you made it fags; too many of you made the money but not the skill to keep it beyond a lucky shitcoin lottery ticket. The USD was the right play. And if you don’t understand why…. maybe vanguard was the best of the worst plays. They are still potentially more competent than you
