this was ethereum's last bullcycle. its fucking dinosaur tech. it already had a lot of L1's competing and scaling better. now imagine next bullcycle this fucking PoW will not be able to keep up with all the competition that will outperform it. the best things are always built during a bear so expect in 2 years a massive change in the top 20. prepare for triple digits.

based chainshitters are going to wait until ETH dies before releasing a bunch of new tech in the power vacuum solidifying the position of LINK in number 2 or number won k eoy depending on whom you ask.

>eth crashing
>arbitrum stays functional and has tiny fees in the middle of the chaos while other chains fail

In a bull market meme coins are considered "interesting tech", now we're at peak bear market a chain that actually functions under load and is way ahead of its competitors in every way is considered bad tech, I really wonder what it is about humans that make these cycles so extreme.

All of the eth killers of this cycle will die too. They'll be crushed by actual tech advancements some day. No, your bags are not the chosen ones, they're garbage too.

what load are you exactly referring to? volume is 0
also arbitrum will go down once ethereum goes into the shitter. no one cares about scaling dapps. if you cannot have a robust network that can handle a gorillian transactions at the cost of a penny you have no advanced tech. just copy pasta.

>> No.49527640

yes, but I find it weird how people's opinions on the fundamental value of technology changes so dramatically during cycles that are 99% credit-based and have nothing to do with tech or fundamental value. In a market when everything goes up people talk about how awesome some coin must be because it's going up, and in a bear market the other way around. While it's clear that the cycle has 0 to do with the technological competition between different chains

During the exact moments of the crash gas fees go crazy everywhere because of defi activity, but arbitrum doesn't give a shit and goes on.

> no one cares about scaling dapps

I make my income on them so I do

>> No.49527719

>>49527640
Yeah nobody actually thought there was some competition going on, we're just discussing price action. We'll use this to shill our bags and shitfling but nobody genuinely believes [eth killer #237] has some revolutionary 'tech' while having one one-thousandth the development budget of ETH.

Also fundamental value doesn't exist and people will instantly reallign their evaluations in response to fear and panic.

that's because computation is done off-chain and only the final results are posted on-chain. if someone publishes several blocks through Arbitrum at once, each node must deal with a more severe load than its peers. this will cause nodes to time out and become unresponsive as they need to wait in queue to reprocess. so basically the more transactions you send across all nodes, the more load there is on each node. that's fucking up your computational power making gas skyrocket.
