Learning how blockchain works isn't going to make you rich. Learning some surface level stuff would help when selecting coins to buy but knowing exactly how they work isn't really necessary. Most of the new chains are just ethereum clones with a couple of changes. Just read a lot of crypto news and you'll pick things up that way and Google words you don't understand. Try cryptopanic.com
