Find a job driving for FedEx Express. Do that for the next three years while living with your parents and studying coding on your free time. At age 20 years and 10 months go to truck driving school. Get a CDL A. Do that for 5 years and save every penny in a mix between the S&P 500 and BTC. At the age of 26 you'll have a net worth in the top 1 percent of your peers and can afford to go to a State College for Computer Science without any student loan debt. Sometimes I wonder if future me has indeed time traveled, but fucked up everybody around me. I’ve lost so many loved ones It’s surreal. 18 friends and family cremated or buried, including my parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, nephews, best friends, you name it. I am starting to understand what old people feel like towards the end, where they’re too old and emotionally blunted to spill another tear for those they lose. All your left with is a sense of melancholy, and a desperate hope that the next one to go is you. If it weren’t for my wife I would’ve have already roped. She’s the one good thing I have left. find something in tech that interests you and learn everything you can about it. I made this mistake and am now getting into tech i'm my thirties thinking it would destroy something I enjoy. Master some part of the computer - Its too much to focus on all of it so you have to pick something. So go pick a programming language and pick a skillset that language focuses on and get after it. For instance R and python are really good for like data analytics and stuff so just do something with it and don't stop
